Start with a square sheet of paper
Fold it in half horizontally, then unfold
Cut or tear along the fold if needed to make two equal rectangles
Fold each rectangle lengthwise in half
Fold each long edge toward the center crease
Fold the corners inward to make two identical strips
Turn one strip over
Place the second strip perpendicular to the first to form a T shape
Fold the top strip’s end into the pocket of the bottom strip
Fold the bottom strip’s end into the pocket of the top strip
Flip the shape over
Fold the remaining ends into the opposite pockets
Tuck all points in tightly
Press the center flat
Adjust the points to form the ninja star shape
