Gather two square sheets of paper
Fold each sheet in half horizontally
Unfold both sheets
Fold the top and bottom edges to the center crease
Fold each sheet in half along the center crease
Fold one end of each strip diagonally to form two matching pieces
Flip one piece over and mirror the fold on the other piece
Interlock the two pieces by sliding the tabs into each other
Tuck the ends securely to lock the shape
Flatten the star
Adjust the points so the star is even and firm
