Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat
Stir in 1/4 teaspoon salt
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of oil if you want the butter to coat the popcorn better
Optional: mix in 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1/4 teaspoon paprika for flavor
Keep the butter warm until the popcorn is ready
Drizzle the butter evenly over freshly popped popcorn
Toss the popcorn gently to coat
Add more salt if needed
