How To Make Quesadillas?

Gather ingredients: tortillas, shredded cheese, optional fillings (chicken, beef, beans, sautéed veggies, peppers, onions), optional salsa, optional sour cream, optional cilantro

Cook fillings if using: season and cook meat/beans/veggies until done; drain excess moisture

Preheat a skillet on medium heat

Place a tortilla in the skillet

Sprinkle an even layer of shredded cheese over half the tortilla

Add fillings on top of the cheese

Sprinkle a little more cheese over fillings

Fold the tortilla in half

Cook 2–4 minutes per side, until golden and crisp and the cheese is melted

Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings

Serve hot with salsa and sour cream, if desired
