Crack 2 eggs into a microwave-safe bowl or mug
Add 1 tablespoon milk or water, if desired
Add a pinch of salt and pepper
Beat the eggs with a fork until well mixed
Microwave on high for 30 seconds
Stir the eggs well
Microwave again in 15 to 20 second intervals, stirring after each interval
Stop when the eggs are mostly set but still slightly soft
Let the eggs sit for 30 seconds
Stir once more and serve
