Minimize the app or turn off the screen
Use picture-in-picture if available
On Android, enable background play in YouTube settings if supported
On iPhone, use YouTube Premium for background playback
Use a mobile browser with desktop mode if your device supports it
Play the video in a browser tab and keep the browser running in the background
Use the audio-only mode if available in your region or app version
Keep in mind that some videos may not allow background playback
