Open the YouTube app or go to YouTube Studio
Tap Create or the plus icon
Select Create a Short or Upload a video
Record or upload a vertical video up to 60 seconds
Add music, text, filters, or other edits if needed
Add a title and include #Shorts if desired
Choose your audience setting
Select visibility as Public, Unlisted, or Private
Tap Upload or Post
Wait for the Short to finish processing
Check your channel to confirm it was posted
