Open Gmail
Select the emails you want to delete
Click the trash icon
To delete many emails at once, use the search bar to filter messages
Click the checkbox at the top to select all visible emails
Click the link to select all conversations that match the search
Click the trash icon
To delete all emails in a folder, open that folder first
Repeat for other folders like Inbox, Promotions, Social, and Spam
Empty the Trash folder to permanently delete the emails
Use Gmail search operators like older_than, before, after, from, and has:attachment to target specific emails
On mobile, open Gmail, select emails by long-pressing, then tap the trash icon
On mobile, use search to find groups of emails before selecting them
