Gather Mod Podge, brush or foam applicator, and project materials
Clean and dry the surface
Cut or arrange your paper, fabric, or decorative items
Apply a thin, even coat of Mod Podge to the surface
Place the item onto the wet Mod Podge
Smooth out bubbles or wrinkles
Let it dry completely
Apply a top coat of Mod Podge over the item
Let the top coat dry
Add additional coats if needed, letting each coat dry between applications
