Open Control Center
Tap the Portrait Orientation Lock icon
Make sure the icon turns red or shows locked
If your iPhone has Face ID, swipe down from the top-right corner
If your iPhone has a Home button, swipe up from the bottom edge
To turn auto rotate back on, tap the Portrait Orientation Lock icon again
