Connect the Kindle Paperwhite to your Windows PC with a USB cable
Unlock the Kindle if prompted
Wait for Windows to detect the device
Open File Explorer
Look under This PC or Devices and drives
Open the Kindle drive
Open the documents folder to view your books
If the Kindle does not appear, try a different USB port or cable
Make sure the cable supports data transfer, not just charging
On the Kindle, tap Allow if a USB connection prompt appears
If needed, restart both the Kindle and the PC
If the drive still does not show, check Device Manager for driver issues
