Push the cork into the bottle with a wooden spoon handle or similar blunt object

Wrap the bottle neck with a towel and tap the bottom against a wall carefully

Twist a sturdy screw into the cork, then pull it out with pliers or a claw hammer
Use a bike pump and needle to press air into the bottle and push the cork out
Heat the neck of the bottle cautiously to help loosen the cork
Break the seal by using a wine key substitute like a multitool or pocket knife
Remove the cork by tying a knot in a string, sliding it beside the cork, and pulling
Open the bottle by pushing the cork inward if retrieval is not necessary
