Make the wide end hang lower than the narrow end
Cross the wide end over the narrow end
Bring the wide end under the narrow end
Pull the wide end up through the neck loop
Bring the wide end down through the front knot
Hold the narrow end and slide the knot upward
Tighten the knot until it sits centered under your collar
Adjust the tie so the wide end reaches your belt line
