How To Overclock RAM?

Enter BIOS/UEFI

Enable XMP, EXPO, or DOCP first

Note current RAM speed, timings, and voltage

Increase memory frequency one step at a time

Boot into the operating system

Test stability after each change

If stable, increase frequency again

If unstable, raise DRAM voltage slightly within safe limits

Tighten timings gradually if desired

Adjust command rate if needed

Keep CPU memory controller voltage within safe limits if required

Save each stable profile in BIOS/UEFI

Run extended memory stress tests

Monitor temperatures during testing

Revert the last change if errors or crashes occur

Clear CMOS if the system fails to boot

Keep a record of stable settings
