How to Pack a Moving Truck?

Gather packing supplies: moving blankets, straps, tie-downs, dollies, tape, and boxes

Sort items by size, weight, and fragility

Disassemble large furniture when possible

Wrap fragile items and furniture edges

Load heavy items first

Place appliances and large furniture against the front wall of the truck

Stack medium-weight boxes on top of heavy items

Put lighter boxes and soft items higher up

Fill gaps with pillows, blankets, and cushions

Keep fragile boxes on top and away from heavy items

Distribute weight evenly from side to side

Secure each layer with straps or ropes

Load mattresses and flat items along the sides

Keep essentials and valuables separate for easy access

Use dollies for heavy or awkward items

Avoid leaving empty spaces that allow shifting

Check that all items are stable before closing the truck

Recheck straps and load security after driving a short distance
