Start painting the panels, then rails and stiles, then the outer edges

Apply thin, even coats
Let the first coat dry fully
Apply a second coat if needed
Remove tape before the paint fully hardens
Reinstall hardware after the paint cures
Keep the door open or slightly ajar while drying to prevent sticking
