Visit the Income Tax e-Filing portal
Log in with your PAN and password
Go to the e-Pay Tax option
Select New Payment
Choose Income Tax as the tax type
Select Self Assessment Tax as the payment type
Enter the assessment year
Fill in the tax amount and other required details
Verify the information
Choose a payment method
Complete the payment
Save the challan receipt or CIN for records
Use the payment details while filing your Income Tax Return
