How to Validate Bank Account in ITR?

Log in to the Income Tax e-Filing portal

Go to the Profile section

Select Bank Account

Add your bank account if not already added

Enter the correct account number, IFSC, and account holder name

Click Validate

Complete validation using net banking, Aadhaar OTP, or other available verification method

Check the validation status as Active and Pre-validated

Use the validated bank account for refund processing in ITR

Ensure the PAN is linked with the bank account

Ensure the bank account is in your name and active

Recheck details if validation fails

Contact your bank if the account is not being validated
