Choose a ripe mango
Remove the seed from the fruit
Clean off all fruit pulp
Dry the seed for a day or two
Carefully open the hard outer shell
Remove the inner seed kernel
Place the kernel in a damp paper towel
Put the paper towel in a plastic bag
Keep the bag warm and moist
Wait for the seed to sprout
Fill a pot with well-draining soil
Plant the sprouted seed root-down
Cover it lightly with soil
Water the soil gently
Place the pot in a warm, sunny spot
Keep the soil moist but not soggy
Transplant to a larger pot or ground when established
