Deal all cards to the players
Decide who goes first
The first player places one or more cards face down and says what rank they are claiming
The claimed rank must follow the turn order, usually starting with Aces and moving upward
The next player must either play the next rank in order or challenge the claim
Players may lie about the cards they place
If a player challenges, the cards just played are revealed
If the claim was true, the challenger takes the entire pile
If the claim was false, the liar takes the entire pile
The player who takes the pile starts the next round
Play continues until one player gets rid of all their cards
The first player to empty their hand wins
