Set up two cornhole boards facing each other, about 27 feet apart from front edge to front edge
Divide players into two teams, with one or two players per team
Give each team four bean bags of the same color
Decide which team throws first
Stand beside your board and toss the bag underhand toward the opposite board
Take turns throwing one bag at a time until all eight bags have been thrown
Score 3 points for a bag that goes through the hole
Score 1 point for a bag that lands on the board and stays there
Score 0 points for a bag that lands on the ground or falls off the board
Cancel out the lower team’s points from the higher team’s points in each round
Keep score after each round
Start the next round with the team that scored last or the team that won the round, depending on your house rules
Continue playing until one team reaches 21 points exactly or goes over 21 and wins by your chosen rule set
