How To Play Egyptian Rat?

Use a standard 52-card deck

Deal all cards face down to all players as evenly as possible

Do not look at your cards

Each player keeps their pile face down in front of them

Take turns flipping the top card of your pile into a center pile

If a face card or ace is played, the next player must play a set number of cards

Jack requires 1 card

Queen requires 2 cards

King requires 3 cards

Ace requires 4 cards

If the required cards include another face card or ace, the challenge passes to the next player

If the challenged player fails to play the required face card or ace, the player who played the last face card or ace takes the center pile

The winner of the pile places those cards at the bottom of their own pile

If two cards of the same rank are played in a row, slap the center pile

The first player to slap correctly takes the center pile

If a player slaps incorrectly, they may lose cards or be penalized by house rules

Continue playing until one player has all the cards

The player with all the cards wins
