Use a standard 52-card deck
Deal 5 cards to each player if there are 2 to 3 players
Deal 7 cards to each player if there are 4 or more players
Place the remaining cards face down in the center as the draw pile
Choose a player to go first
On your turn, ask one other player for a specific rank you already have in your hand
You must ask for a rank you hold at least one card of
The player you ask must give you all cards of that rank if they have any
If you get cards, continue your turn
If you do not get cards, they say “Go fish”
Draw one card from the draw pile
If the drawn card matches the rank you asked for, keep playing
If it does not match, end your turn
Whenever you collect all 4 cards of a rank, place that set face up in front of you
Continue taking turns until the draw pile is empty and all hands are empty
The player with the most completed sets wins
