Check whether your Chromebook supports Steam
Use a Chromebook with an Intel or AMD processor
Make sure your Chromebook has at least 8 GB of RAM
Update ChromeOS to the latest version
Open Settings
Turn on Linux development environment if required
Open the Terminal
Install Steam through the Linux container if supported
Download the Steam installer from the official Steam website
Run the installer in Linux
Sign in to your Steam account
Install your games
Open Steam from the app launcher
Use a compatible controller or keyboard and mouse if needed
If Steam is not supported, use Steam Link to stream games from another PC
Install Steam Link from the Play Store or use the web version if available
Connect your Chromebook and gaming PC to the same network
Pair Steam Link with your PC
Launch and play your Steam games through streaming
