Set up two cornhole boards facing each other, 27 feet apart from front edge to front edge
Divide players into two teams, with one or two players per team
Give each team four bean bags of the same color
Decide which team throws first
Stand behind the front of your board when throwing
Toss one bag at a time toward the opposite board
Aim to land the bag on the board or through the hole
Alternate throws between teams until all eight bags are thrown
Score 3 points for a bag that goes through the hole
Score 1 point for a bag that lands and stays on the board
Score 0 points for a bag that misses the board or falls off
Cancel out both teams’ points for the round
Add the remaining points to the winning team’s score
Play until a team reaches 21 points exactly or wins by reaching 21 or more, depending on your rules
Switch sides after each round if using standard cornhole rules
