Brush off dirt and dust
Wipe the shoes with a damp cloth
Apply a small amount of shoe polish
Spread the polish evenly with a cloth or applicator brush
Let the polish dry
Buff the shoes with a clean horsehair brush
Wipe with a soft cloth for shine
Apply a second thin coat if needed
Replace the laces
