Send an SMS from your Airtel number: PORT
Receive the UPC code by SMS
Visit a Jio Store, Jio retailer, or Jio online porting option
Submit your UPC code, Aadhaar/ID proof, and a passport-size photo if required
Choose a Jio prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete biometric or eKYC verification if asked
Keep your Airtel SIM active until the porting process is completed
Insert the Jio SIM when the old Airtel SIM stops working
Wait for the porting to complete, usually within a few days
Restart your phone after Jio activation
Check network, calls, SMS, and data after activation
