Check that your current mobile number is active
Ensure there are no pending dues on your existing connection
Generate a UPC by sending PORT
Note the UPC and its validity period
Visit a Jio Store, Jio retailer, or Jio authorized outlet
Carry a valid ID proof and passport-size photo if required
Submit the UPC and MNP porting request form
Choose a Jio prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete biometric verification or KYC as required
Receive the new Jio SIM
Wait for the old SIM to stop working
Insert the Jio SIM after the porting is completed
Activate the SIM as instructed by Jio
Keep the old SIM active until the porting process is fully completed
