Turn on the TV
Slide the DirecTV remote’s mode switch to TV
Press and hold MUTE and SELECT until the green light flashes twice
Enter the TV manufacturer code
Press POWER
If the TV turns off, press SELECT to save the code
If the TV does not turn off, repeat with the next code for your TV brand
Test VOLUME and MUTE
