Turn on the TV and the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the Xfinity remote
Press and hold the Setup button until the LED changes from red to green
Enter the TV manufacturer’s code if you have it
Wait for the LED to blink twice
Test the Power and Volume buttons
If the code does not work, repeat with another code for your TV brand
If your remote has no Setup button, press and hold the Xfinity and Mute buttons together until the LED turns green
Follow the on-screen pairing instructions if prompted
For voice remotes, press and hold the Microphone or Voice button and follow the pairing steps
To program a cable box or streaming device, press the device button and follow the same code-entry or pairing process
If needed, use the Xfinity remote setup page or the Xfinity My Account app to find the correct code
If the remote still does not work, reset the remote and try again
