Locate the reset button on the back or bottom of the Xfinity router
Keep the router powered on
Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold the reset button for about 10 to 15 seconds
Release the button when the lights start blinking or the router restarts
Wait for the router to fully reboot and reconnect
Reconfigure the router if needed using the default network information or Xfinity app
If you want to perform a simple restart instead, unplug the power cord for 10 seconds and plug it back in
