Turn on the TV and Xfinity device
Insert fresh batteries into the Xfinity remote
Press and hold the Setup button until the LED changes from red to green
Press the Xfinity button
Follow the on-screen pairing instructions
If prompted, enter the TV manufacturer code
Test the volume, power, and input buttons
Repeat the setup with a different code if the remote does not work
