Turn on the TV or device you want to program
Press and hold the Setup button on the Comcast remote until the LED changes from red to green
Enter the 5-digit code for your TV or device using the number buttons
Point the remote at the device and press Power
If the device turns off, press OK or Enter to save the code
If the device does not turn off, repeat with the next code for your brand
For Xfinity Voice Remotes, press and hold Setup until the light turns green, then enter the code
To pair a remote to an Xfinity box, press and hold Setup until the light turns green, then enter 9-8-1
Press the Xfinity button, then follow the on-screen instructions if prompted
If needed, use the Xfinity remote code lookup for your TV brand
Replace the batteries if the remote does not respond
Make sure you are standing close to the device during setup
