Turn on the TV
Press and hold the Setup button on the Comcast remote until the red light changes from red to green
Enter the TV brand code for your TV
Press the Power button to test the remote
If the TV turns off, press the Setup button to save the code
If the TV does not respond, repeat with the next code for your TV brand
Use the Comcast remote’s code lookup if you do not know the TV brand code
If your remote has no Setup button, press and hold the Xfinity and Mute buttons until the light changes
Follow the on-screen pairing steps if your Comcast box supports remote setup through the TV menu
Test the Volume and Channel buttons after pairing
Replace the batteries if the remote does not enter setup mode
