Turn on the TV and the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the Comcast remote
Press and hold the Setup button until the LED changes color or blinks
Press the TV button or the device button you want to program
Enter the correct manufacturer code using the number pad
Test the Power, Volume, and Input buttons
If the code does not work, repeat with another code from the Comcast remote code list
For Xfinity Voice Remotes, press and hold Setup until the light turns green
Press the Xfinity or Microphone button as prompted
Follow the on-screen pairing instructions
If needed, use the Xfinity remote setup option in the TV or cable box menu
Re-pair the remote by following the on-screen prompts if the remote stops responding
Replace the batteries if the remote still does not work
