Turn on the TV and the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the Samsung remote
Point the remote at the TV
Press and hold the Return and Play/Pause buttons together for 3 seconds
Wait for the pairing message to appear on the TV
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing
If pairing a cable box or other device, press the Source button
Select the device you want to control
Follow the on-screen setup steps
If using a universal setup, enter the device code from the manual
Test the remote functions
Repeat the pairing process if the remote does not respond
Replace the batteries if needed
