How to Pull Out a Tick Head?

Wash your hands and clean the area with soap and water or rubbing alcohol

Use fine-tipped tweezers or sterilized needle

Grasp the tick head as close to the skin as possible

Pull straight out with steady, even pressure

Do not twist, squeeze, or crush the area

If using a needle, gently lift the skin to expose the head and remove it carefully

Clean the area again after removal

Apply an antiseptic or antibiotic ointment if available

Dispose of the tick safely in alcohol, a sealed bag, or by flushing

Monitor the area for redness, swelling, rash, or fever

Seek medical care if you cannot remove it, the area becomes infected, or symptoms develop
