Remove the valve cap
Unscrew the small Presta valve locknut at the tip
Press the valve briefly to release a little air
Attach a Presta-compatible pump head or use a Presta adapter
Lock the pump head onto the valve
Inflate to the desired pressure
Remove the pump head carefully
Tighten the Presta locknut at the tip
Replace the valve cap
