Gather your heat transfer vinyl, cutting machine, cutting mat, weeding tool, heat press or iron, and blank item
Design your artwork in cutting software
Mirror the design before cutting
Place the vinyl shiny side down on the cutting mat
Cut the design using the correct settings for your vinyl
Weed away the excess vinyl around and inside the design
Preheat the blank item to remove moisture and wrinkles
Position the design on the item
Cover the design with a protective sheet or parchment paper
Apply heat and pressure with a heat press or iron for the recommended time
Let the vinyl cool or peel according to the vinyl instructions
Remove the carrier sheet
Press again if needed for better adhesion
Wait before washing the finished item
