Open WhatsApp
Tap the Status tab
Tap My Status or the camera icon
Take a photo or video, or choose one from your gallery
Add text, stickers, or drawings if you want
Tap Send or the arrow icon to post it
To post text only, tap the pencil icon in Status and type your message
Tap Send to share your text status
