Measure the roofline and plan gutter placement
Gather gutters, downspouts, brackets, screws, sealant, end caps, and tools
Mark the fascia with a slight slope toward the downspout
Cut gutters and downspouts to the needed lengths
Attach end caps and outlet holes for downspouts
Install gutter hangers or brackets along the marked line
Secure the gutter sections to the hangers
Seal all joints, seams, and end caps
Install downspouts and fasten them to the wall
Add elbows and extensions to direct water away from the foundation
Test with water and check for leaks and proper drainage
Tighten or adjust any loose or misaligned sections
