Measure the door frame and door gaps
Choose the correct weather stripping type
Clean the door surface and frame
Remove old weather stripping if present
Cut the weather stripping to size
Test-fit the pieces before attaching
Peel the adhesive backing or prepare fasteners
Apply the weather stripping along the top and sides of the frame
Press it firmly into place
Install the bottom seal or door sweep
Close the door to check for a tight seal
Trim any excess material
Adjust or reposition if needed
