Save your work
Close all open programs
Click Start
Select Power
Choose Restart
Wait for the computer to reboot
If Restart is unavailable, choose Shut down, then turn the computer back on
If the computer is frozen:
Press and hold the power button until it turns off
Wait a few seconds
Press the power button to turn it back on
