Unplug the Fire TV Stick from the TV’s HDMI port
Unplug the Fire TV Stick’s power adapter from the wall outlet
Wait 30 seconds
Plug the power adapter back into the wall outlet
Reconnect the Fire TV Stick to the TV if needed
Wait for the Fire TV Stick to restart
If it is frozen, press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons on the remote for 5 seconds
If needed, go to Settings
Select My Fire TV
Select Restart
