Replace the batteries in the remote
Turn on the Fire TV device
Hold the Home button on the remote for 10 seconds
Wait for the on-screen pairing message
If it does not pair, unplug the Fire TV device for 60 seconds
Plug the Fire TV device back in
Hold the Home button again for 10 seconds
If needed, go to Settings
Select Controllers and Bluetooth Devices
Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes
Select Add New Remote
Press and hold the Home button on the remote
Select the remote when it appears on screen
If the remote still does not work, reset it by holding Left, Menu, and Back for 12 seconds
Remove the batteries from the remote
Reinsert the batteries
Pair the remote again using the Home button
