Check local laws and get consent from all participants before recording
Open the Voice Memos app if you want to record your own side of a conversation
Tap the red Record button to start recording
Keep the iPhone close to the conversation for better audio
Tap the Stop button to end the recording
Save and rename the recording in Voice Memos
Use the Files app or AirDrop to share the recording if needed
If you need a phone call recording, use a third-party app or external recorder that supports call recording
Enable any required permissions for the recording app in Settings
Follow the app’s instructions to start and stop the call recording
Review the recording to make sure the audio is clear
Store recordings securely and delete them when no longer needed
