Press Shift + Command + 5
Select Record Entire Screen to capture the full display
Select Record Selected Portion to capture a specific area
Choose Options to set:
Save to location (Desktop or other folder)
Microphone input (None or microphone)
Show mouse clicks (On/Off)
Remember last selection (On/Off)
Click Record
To stop recording, click the Stop button in the menu bar, or press Command + Control + Esc
After recording, the video file appears as a preview thumbnail in the corner of the screen (click to open)
