Press Windows + G to open the Xbox Game Bar
Click the Capture widget
Click the Record button or press Windows + Alt + R
Stop recording by clicking the Stop button or pressing Windows + Alt + R
Find the recording in Videos > Captures
Open PowerPoint
Go to Insert
Select Screen Recording
Click Select Area
Click Record
Stop recording by moving the mouse to the top of the screen and clicking Stop
Save the recording from PowerPoint
Use the Snipping Tool on supported Windows versions
Open Snipping Tool
Select Record
Choose the area to record
Click Start
Click Stop when finished
Save the recording
Use a third-party screen recorder
Install the screen recording app
Open the app and choose the screen area
Start recording
Stop recording when done
Save the video file
