Stop using the SD card immediately
Remove the SD card from the device
Connect the SD card to a computer using a card reader
Check the Recycle Bin or Trash if the card was used on a computer
Use photo recovery software
Scan the SD card with the recovery tool
Preview the recoverable photos
Select the photos you want to restore
Save the recovered photos to a different drive
Do not save recovered files back to the SD card
Try another recovery tool if the first one does not work
Use a professional data recovery service if the photos are important
Back up recovered photos immediately
Format the SD card only after recovery is complete
