Open the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Tap or click the AirTag in the Items tab
Pull down to refresh the location
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
Make sure Location Services is turned on
Make sure your device has an internet connection
Move closer to the AirTag if needed
Wait a few moments for the location to update
Check the AirTag battery if the location is not updating
Remove and re-add the AirTag in Find My if it still will not refresh
